Thomas' Spring Solo

Family and Friends -

Thomas performed a solo on Thursday night for the Spring Program. He had to try out for the part. He did a wonderful job and we are so proud of him. The outfit he is wearing is part of the costume for the program.

This is my movie on Nebraska History. The movie will share with you the beauty of Nebraska and then the fun facts and famous Nebraskans.

A final Thank You to Julie Baker-Anderson for giving me permission to use her vocal recording of "Beautiful Nebraska" by Jim W. Fras.

PS3 edited photos:

Sit back, relax, and enjoy! Some wording on the clips is difficult to read due to the final movie making processes.

Podcast Reflections

The podcasts that I watched via iTunes were Photoshop Killers and Tech-Lesson Plans.

Photoshop Killers is a podcast that gives the subscriber information about photoshop techniques. Each day brings a new, step by step, concept to the projects that can be completed through photoshop. The information would be helpful to anyone that needed more hints or tricks to photo editing. I have thoroughly enjoyed this podcast because I want to continue to learn about photo editing and this is an easy way to learn more useful ideas.

University of South Florida has a Tech-Lesson Plans podcast for grades K-2 and grades 3-5. These podcasts have some useful plans that an educator can use within their own classroom. The lesson plans are presented in an easy to follow and understand format that can be easily adjusted to suit the individual educator’s classroom needs. Educators can find a wide array of lesson plans that can be used in the classroom, from the solar system to the human body.

ME!

Hello – I am Jana Andersen and this is an introduction to me.

I am currently an at home Mother of four children under the age of 6 ½ years. Therefore, I spend most of my time driving my oldest son to first grade, my middle son to preschool on MWF, my youngest son to preschool on TTh, speech class on TTh for the middle son, doctor's appointments for the youngest son and only daughter (bad ears and the whole ENT stuff for the youngest two), and anywhere they need to go.

My husband and I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching the kids as they grow and change, and seeing what each new day has to bring to our family.

I was a teacher for Bellevue Public Schools for seven years before I began to stay home full time. I am earning my Masters degree in Instructional Technology and have had an enjoyable time learning many new things. I will share some of the many new things I learn with you during the duration of this class.
